Math Games for Learning

What if solving math problems felt as fun as playing your favorite game?

NexusQuest partnered with You Discover Math (YDM) (www.youdiscovermath.org), a nonprofit dedicated to math education, to design and code interactive math games as part of a community-focused tech project. Through this collaboration, NexusQuest coded games to support YDM’s mission to turn math practice into an engaging experience where learners strengthen core skills, explore problem-solving, and discover the fun side of mathematics through play.

By blending coding, creativity, and math, this project shows how technology can reimagine traditional learning into something exciting, interactive, and lasting!

Race to Hilbert’s Hotel is a multiplayer board game designed to teach students how to solve one-step linear equations. Players race to reach the hotel before it fills up, but instead of rolling dice, they solve equations to move forward. The game is currently being expanded to include multi-step equations, providing an even richer learning experience!

Euclid Says is a game where players receive challenges from “Euclid” himself, requiring them to draw figures based on his instructions. But there’s a catch — sometimes the challenges are impossible! This playful mix of logic and geometry helps beginners build confidence while offering opportunities to expand into advanced geometric concepts.

NexusQuest is excited to partner with Songkran Thai Kitchen, a local restaurant, to design and implement innovative, tech-enabled solutions that strengthen customer engagement and drive sales. From QR code review systems to an AI-powered chatbot and automated customer data management, these tools not only support the restaurant’s growth but also demonstrate how technology can create meaningful impact within the community.
